The women wisdom warriors gathered once again in sacred community. Today we collectively walked the labyrinth - Sophia. We merged our energy fields, our paths, our consciousness and felt the support of the earth holding Sophia and Sophia holding us in the light. A 'moving' experience.
We opened and closed the labyrinth with gentle rhythmic sound stirring the energy and sending it out to the universe.
And then, WE DANCED! WE SMILED! WE LAUGHED! WE CONNECTED! WE CREATED JOY!
Then we relaxed!
Quietly Sat!
And laid together in friendship!
Finally, sharing our thoughts, our Aha's, and our connectedness, with words, support, and silence of knowing.
Our facilitator, Donna Christensen, did a wonderful presentation and guided us through the process.
I love my Wisdom Warrior sister goddesses......we are unique and we show up for each other. It is beauty!
The Roundtable is back for the Fall Season -- started with the deep intentions and guided imagery from our expert and professional imagery facilitator Kendra and Priscilla opening with a wonderful meditation.
We all experienced an amazing journey into Self and Inner Silence. Thank you both. I'll try to be better at taking photos now.
Sally held this roundtable at her new home in Nocatee. I was able to attend and there are loads of photos on Facebook and I hope to catch a few and post here. It was an awesome experience being draped with a scarf and held in honor and stroked with love.
Our very own Nancy Marin held this Roundtable at her office studio and took the group through a series of activities showing the way to exercise the mind.
I didn't make it to this one, so no photos. But big thanks to Nancy.
A quick update to get our blog and calendar in order as the hands change back again in the Roundtable. As women do, we hold the space when necessary - and I thank Sally Baldwin, Priscilla Howick, and Diane Marie for jumping in for the collective feminine as the Roundtable's momentum moved forward. They are stepping down at the end of the year now and I'm back in the driver's seat .... thank you all for being flexible and adapting. I'm attempting to update everything, but the energy in our hearts and minds are always there .
Our March roundtable was held at Janice Ryalls home -- She is the faerie expert and has a beautiful faerie garden and walk about. Hopefully photos will miraculously appear one day, but in the meantime, thank you Janice.
Our first gathering of the new season and with the new facilitators.....After a great ceremony of thanks and gratitude for the Founder, Marilyn, and a gift giving, we went around the circle asking the wisdom warriors what they wanted for the new roundtable. Everyone was so positive and love the collective gathering...much will stay the same and yet new energy will be infused. Looking forward to our season of transformation.
Eileen Loney was the lucky winner to receive the BARS session from Lesa. As she enjoyed the session from the middle of the circle, Diane Marie shared with us the purpose of Access Consciousness. We ended with a great big YeeHaw for the year of the wooden horse. A perfect way to start.
Just a quick note to let you know that I am pulling away from the leadership and creation of the monthly wisdom roundtable. With many monthly commitments and return to school for a Celebrant Certification, I am honor my authentic self and taking time off to begin new endeavors. The good news is that several of the wisdom warriors are banning together and will be continuing the roundtable in a more collaborative way.....so cool, because THIS IS THE WAY OF THE WARRIOR WOMAN. Stay tuned for their ideas and their schedules. Until next time....Marilyn
December 1 .... sounds like December right? ... not November .... right? Well, it seemed more like November because it was still Thanksgiving Weekend and Thanksgiving was late this year. I did not take that into consideration when originally planning this roundtable. With many out of town for the holidays or with guests and family visiting, our roundtable was the smallest, yet most intimate, gathering we have had for 2 years. Ideal though, as we had to move outside due to the space needs. Being outside was a gift. A beautiful Florida day, yet chilly enough to building our bonfire for our ending ceremony.
So, there were 8 of us and had time to really share and dig into the Despacho ceremony and the sharing portion as we began the gathering. The entire day was about Gratefulness.....Release of What No Longer Serves ..... and New Beginnings.
We began building the Despacho which is a gift to Pachamama - the Holy Mother Earth and the Divine. We all started with our own individual quintos (flower symbol holding the intention) - we all placed our quintos on the wrapping bundle paper and began to add the symbolic pieces, such as chocolate, rice, seeds, nuts, etc. -- all of which are symbolic for intentions to bring into our life, like abundance, love, friends, relationships, etc.
After bundling our gifts, we wrapped it in the shamanic bundle and waved it over each others bodies to remove negative energy that may have attached. A bell ringing followed each and cleared the air. We removed it from the bundle and sent it to the bonfire to send the energy out into the universe.
Hope you like this video of the last burning...we turned our backs as Pachamama took our hopes and dreams and we sang ......
So excited about November's Wisdom Roundtable where Unconditional Love is the Topic of the Day.
Our altar is beautiful with the feminine energy of Kwan Yin brought all the way from China in the 1950's by my father aboard ship.
She protects us. All of our I AM presence is in the middle awaiting the lighting of the individual candles.
Marilyn & Debbie appreciating our center altar.
A moment to hold pose over our altar as we prepared for our guests.
We opened with a Release and Refresh Ritual -- letting go of negative hurts and opening up to the love and light being sent through universal connection.
Another super earth ritual given to me by www.healingdrummer.com - Toby Christiansen.
Intently sharing, learning, and being refreshed with the spirit of ritual.
Debbie Young, our Topic Leader for Sheng Yen Gong....also accupuncturist. Running thru the poses so we can deeply contemplate when the flow begins.
I was excited to read the poems that go along with the seated poses. Very beautiful.
Our November Wisdom Roundtable was full of warm hearts and unconditional love.
Here in the Lotus pose, we show our joy with our smiles and relaxed serenity.
So nice to hold space with these warrior women another month.
See you all next month when Priscilla performs Despacho Ceremony for all of us. Check out the calendar tab for more info.
Diane M, Julie, Gerry, and Carol getting acquainted.
Our October Wisdom Roundtable was so grounding and full of new and exciting energy.
While it is hard to get back into the swing of meeting again after taking the summer off, we had a record attendance with 18 warrior women sharing their afternoon with us.
Barbara W and the conversations begin.
The exciting part of the growth of the WRT is all the new faces at each meeting. There is always at least one and often more new warriors who are open to finding out more about themselves and their sister warriors.
The way women share what they love and the passion for expanding out into the community is a glorious sight.
Our new wisdom warriors this month were Diane Marie, Carolyn, Janet M., Barbara, Julie Porter, Barbara W (no photo) and Gerry (no photo yet) .. each from a different walk and a different way of arrival. Beautiful!
This monthly gathering of women is building a bridge between communities and extending far beyond the reaches of our beach community. We extend to north to St. Simon's Island, south to St. Augustine, and west into and beyond Jacksonville city limits.
Symbolic Grounding Supplies
Knowing that our topic was a presentation on Donna Eden Energy Work and also knowing that a major shift is taking place on our planet right now .... I felt strongly about providing a 'Grounding & Renewal Ritual' for the warriors.
(thanks to Toby @ www.thehealingdrummer.com)
My dining room table became the space to begin creating our symbolic Earth Shrines. With a bowl of organic soil, rocks, crystals, and small planter pots to fill, we opened our intention to bring the nurturing of Mother Earth into our life and placed a scoop of soil in our pot, added our rock with our I AM presence on it, then wrote our promises of letting go, burned our paper, used the ash to cover the rock, and then poured purified water over the ash as it washed away allowing mother earth to absorb and transmute the energy. We sang ... we discovered ... we connected. The purpose of the shrine now is to hold our gratitude offerings for the next month as we experience life changing transformation.
Sally and Nancy M
Feeling firmly grounded, we were able to open our minds and our meridians as Sally Baldwin presented the topic sharing the daily energy routine that would keep us balanced and present. We learned how to zip and unzip our energy, how to overcome negative thoughts, and so much more.
